Ronald "Ron" Bever, age 64 of Perry, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 at home in Perry, IA. Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church in Perry, IA. on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry, IA. Burial will be in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery at Adel, IA. Memorials will be given to the USO and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Online condolences may be sent at

                Ronald "Ron" Dean Bever was born on September 30, 1954 at Perry, IA to Darrell Lloyd and Ernestine Junior (Clair) Bever. He attended Central Dallas High School in Minburn, IA. graduating in 1972, and the Chicago City-Wide College in Mannheim, Germany receiving an Associates Degree in Business. He was united in marriage to Corrine Marie Johnson at Adel, IA on February 26, 2016. Ron served in the Army as a Dining Facility Manager. After his discharge he worked as a dietary manager and an independent contractor.

                Ron was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed woodworking, baking cakes and being a grandpa.

                Left to cherish Ron’s memory are his wife Corrine, parents, Darrell & Ernestine, children, Angela (Bryan) Lesher, Centralia, MO, Christopher Bever, Lebanon, MO and Brandon Bever, West Virginia. Grandchildren, Allison, J.T., J.R., Jade "Skye", Aurora, Raevynn, Remington, Logan, Arabella and Liam. Siblings, Deb ("Breezie" Hart) Davis, Ferris, TX, Steven (Donna) Bever, Des Moines, IA, Jim (Kathy) Bever, Boone, IA and Diane (Jim) Cox, Minburn, IA.
