         Richard Dean Sieck age 66 of Grand Junction, IA passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.  Visitation will be on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry, IA.  Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, Iowa.      Memorials will be given to the family and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home. 

 

          Richard was born on September 5, 1950 at Tama, Iowa to Rudolph Henry and Ruth Frances (Hoffman) Sieck. He was married to Denise McDowell.  Richard worked maintenance for many years at Tyson Fresh Meats in Perry, Iowa.

 

          Richard enjoyed golfing, watching football, and going to the casino.

 

          In death he rejoins his parents, Rudolph Henry and Ruth Frances Sieck, brother, Leroy Dale Sieck and a son, Richard Dean Sieck, Jr.

 

          Left to cherish Richard’s memory are his daughters, Jennifer Jacobson, Perry, Iowa and Jessica Johnston, Perry, Iowa; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Debbie McAllister, Grand Junction, Iowa, Jeanette Hornsby, Perry, Iowa and Ruth Ann Cosner, Grand Junction, Iowa; a brother, Lyle Hoffman of Grand Junction, Iowa;  his longtime friend, Darcel Coleman; an aunt, Isabelle Froskey, Perry, Iowa; cousin, Pam McAllister, and many other cousins.
