Mark Eppert, age 39 of Perry, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Crossroads Church in Perry. Visitation will be on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Crossroads Church in Perry. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery at Madrid, IA at a later date. Memorials will be given to Perry High School Industrial Tech Department and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care.


Mark Alan Eppert was born on May 19, 1980 in Ames, IA to Ronald Edmund and Jacqueline Lynne (Patrick) Eppert. He attended Madrid High School graduating with the class of 1998. Mark was united in marriage to Anna Marie Lillian Vodenik at Dallas Center on October 10, 2009. He worked as a Maintenance Technician with Perry Community Schools.


Mark was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Madrid, TSA, Skills USA and the 515 Softball Team. Mark enjoyed hunting, shooting, bowling, fishing, camping, slow pitch softball, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family.


In death Mark rejoins his brother-in-law, Alex Vodenik, grandparents, Arnold Patrick, Richard and Helen Eppert and his father-in-law, Mike Vodenik.


Left to cherish Mark’s memory are his wife Anna Eppert, parents, Ronald and Jacqueline Eppert, children, Morgan (Brendan Smith) Eppert, Taylor and Konnor Eppert, grandchildren, Haidynne Eppert, brother, David (Jenna) Eppert, nephew, Jordan Eppert, nieces, Cali and Madison Eppert, grandmother, Rubie Patrick and many more relatives and friends.
