Julius Little, age 94 of Perry, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, IA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Perry Bible Church in Perry. Visitation will be on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Prairie Center Cemetery, Rural Linden, IA. Memorials will be given to the Perry Lutheran Homes or St. Croix Hospice and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. 

Julius Merton Little was born on October 8, 1924 in Guthrie County to Walter Elwood and Mabel Fern (Fitz) Little. His family moved to Dallas Center, IA and he graduated from the Dallas Center High School. On February 17, 1945, he was united in marriage to Helen Mardell Perrigo at her parent’s home near Redfield. Julius farmed for almost 50 years and served the public as a Dallas County Supervisor.

He was a member of the Shiloh Bible Church, Perry Bible Church and many civic and community boards and organizations. His life was devoted to helping people.

In death he rejoins his wife Helen, a daughter, Linda Kay Little, parents, Walter and Mabel, a brother, Warren Little and a sister, Miriam Washman.

Left to cherish Julius’s memory are his children, Norman (Donita) of Yale, IA, Karen Sue (Bob) Sass of Davenport, IA and Craig (Lynnette) Little of Panora, IA, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, siblings, Paul Little, Panora, IA, Luke (Janice) Little, Dallas Center, IA and Harriet Cornwell, Des Moines, IA.
