Juan "Don Juanito" Jiménez de 78 años de Perry falleció el sábado 12 de noviembre de 2016 en el Unity Point - Iowa Methodist Hospital en Des Moines, IA. La misa de los funerales se llevará a cabo el jueves, 17 de noviembre de 2016 a las 3:30 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica de San Patricio en Perry. El entierro será en una fecha posterior en México. Juan "Don Juanito" Jiménez nació el 9 de agosto de 1938 en Tepatitlan Jalisco hijo de Juan Jiménez y María de Jesús (Tejeda) Jiménez. Asistió a la escuela en México. Se unió en matrimonio con Juana López González en México el 26 de julio de 1966. Trabajó en la agricultura en California antes de venir a Iowa para trabajar en Tyson. Él era un miembro de la iglesia católica de St. Patrick en Perry. Era una persona cariñosa y feliz y disfrutaba de la vida.

Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Juan y María de Jesús Jiménez, 4 hermanos y 2 hermanas.

Se le sobrevive su esposa Juana Lopez, e hijos, Jesús, Ana María, Juan, Antonia, José Ángel y Amelia, 20 nietos, 2 hermanas, María de La Luz y María Asunción y 1 hermano, Ángel Jiménez.

 

Juan "Don Juanito" Jimenez age 78 of Perry passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Unity Point - Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Perry. Burial will be at a later date in Mexico. Juan "Don Juanito" Jimenez was born on August 9, 1938 at Tepatitlan Jalisco to Juan and Maria de Jesus  (Tejeda) Jimenez. He attended school in Mexico. He was united in marriage to Juana Lopez Gonzalez in Mexico on July 26, 1966. He worked in agriculture in California before coming to Iowa to work at Tyson. He was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Perry. He was a happy caring person and enjoyed life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria de Jesus Jimenez, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his wife Juana Jimenez, children, Jesus Jimenez, Ana Maria Jimenez, Juan Jimenez, Antonia Jimenez, Jose Angel Jimenez and Amelia Jimenez, 20 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Maria de La Luz and Maria Asuncion and 1 brother, Angel Jimenez.
