Darrell Bever, age 92 of Perry, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the Rowley Memorial Masonic Community in Perry, IA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Perry. Visitation will be on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Masonic service held at 7:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery at Minburn, IA. Memorials will be given to Perry Food Pantry, Raccoon River Pet Rescue or First Christian Church and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Darrell Lloyd Bever was born on July 3, 1927 at Minburn, IA to Ernest Lloyd and Hazel Marie (Harris) Bever. He attended the Washington Township Consolidated School. He was united in marriage to Ernestine Junior Clair at Des Moines, IA on July 4, 1948. He was an accountant for the Minburn and Adel Coop and farmed near Minburn.

He was a member of the and Otley Masonic Lodge #299, the Washington Township Restoration Project and First Christian Church where he was active in their Community Clothes Closet. He enjoyed playing pool, working cross word puzzles and playing bingo at Rowley Masonic Community.

In death he rejoins his parents, Ernest and Hazel, a son, Ronald Dean Bever and a brother, Dean Bever.
