Dale Einck, age 80 of Perry, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry, IA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Perry. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. with family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil service held at 7:15 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery at Perry, IA. Memorials can be given to Animal Rescue League of your choice and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home.
Dale William Einck was born on June 4, 1936 at Hartford, SD to John Henry and Lucy Ann (Schartz) Einck. He attended school at Verdi, MN. He was united in marriage to Darleen June Evink at Pipestone, MN on December 13, 1958. He worked on the family farm, was a salesman for Fuller Brush Company, was the manager of a furniture store, and repaired washers and dryers at the laundromat and repaired TV sets for Strato TV. He then went to work for Thorp Credit, which moved him to Perry. He changed careers and began working for Hurd Electric and then bought the business after 5 years. He changed the name to Einck Electric and operated it until he retired in 1996.
He was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Perry Elks Lodge. He enjoyed his family and attending his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren events. He also enjoyed golfing, playing Pinochle, mowing and taking care of his flowers in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his wife Darleen Einck, parents, John and Lucy Einck and a brother, Merle Einck.
He is survived by his children, Mark (Karen) Einck, Perry, IA and Mary (Rick) Hermann, Ankeny, IA, grandchildren, Ben (Jodi) Einck, Urbandale, IA, Emi Einck, Perry, IA and Katie and Nick Hermann, Ankeny, IA and great grandchildren, John, Will and Andi Einck, Urbandale, IA.
