Arlene (Kiddie) Hendrixson age 73 of Perry passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at her home in Perry IA. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Clinton, IA at a later date. Memorials will be given to family and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home. Arlene Theresa (Kiddie) Hendrixson was born on November 3, 1942 in Clinton, IA to Charles and Marie (Dau) Parker. She attended school at Perry High. She was previously married to Carl Kiddie and later divorced. She was united in marriage to Paul Joseph Hendrixson at Omaha, NE on November 8, 2001. She worked at the Boone County Hospital and Gates Rubber Company in Boone. After moving to Perry, Arlene worked at Alco, Orscheln Farm & Home Supply and Percival Scientific, retiring from there in 2005.
She enjoyed roller skating, dancing, car shows, traveling and spending time with her family. She was always smiling and never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her 2 sisters, Darlene (her twin) and Venita Parker, brother-in-law, Massimo Pierangeli, and 3 nephews, Mark Judge, Terry Anschutz and Brian Anschutz.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Hendrixson, Perry, IA, daughters, Patty (Pat) Langel, West Des Moines, IA, Pam (Pam Woodard) Johnson, Urbandale, IA and Carlene (Victor) Aspengren, Boone, IA, 5 grandchildren, Adam Johnson, Eric Allen, Bryant (Nicole) Allen, Jon Langel and Maggie Langel, 2 great grandchildren, Hailey and Camron Allen, 2 sisters, Charlene (Tom) Judge, Ankeny, IA and Joyce (Gary) Anschutz, Jefferson, IA, sister-in-law, Ethel Pierangeli, Clive, IA, 1 uncle, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
