Vickie McGrean Beuter age 55, crossed over to her Forever Home Saturday, January 7, 2012 from her home in Minburn, IA from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 13, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Perry. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Minburn. Visitation, with family present, will be Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carris Family Funeral Home. A Vigil service will be included at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be designated to Seeing Eye Dog Foundation or Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and may be left at the Funeral Home.

Vickie Lynn McGrean Beuter was born on May 5, 1956 to James Lowell and Juanita Beverly (Cubbage) Nossaman, attended East High School and was united in marriage to Patrick Beuter in June of 1994 in Des Moines, IA. Vickie was employed by Mercy Hospital in the Nuclear Medicine department.

Even while enduring her own illness with quiet courage Vickie volunteered with HCI Care Services as an 11^th hour hospice care giver. Though Vickie loved to travel with her husband Pat, at home her gardens were gorgeous and her "secret fertilizer" produced amazing tomatoes. Her beautiful baking brought home champion ribbons from the Annual Minburn 4th of July Pie Auctions. Vickie enjoyed her pets.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Juanita Nossaman, and a sister, Heidi Meschler.

Vickie is survived by her husband, Patrick Beuter, Minburn, IA, sister, Casey (Dean) Vogler, Ogden, IA, nephew, Patrick Michael Thalken, Iowa City, IA, niece, Katherine (Nathan) Druivenga, North Liberty, IA, and many friends remain. We wait to finish our work in this life. She waits to welcome us home.
